Hamamatsu offers the Lightning Cure 200 series, for the rapid curing of optical components. High-powered, yet compact when used in UV adhesive curing, the spotlight source allows quick curing while avoiding thermal damage to the target object or peripheral parts.
This series uses a 200 W super quiet mercury xenon lamp with a built-in condenser reflector, which collects the intense UV light into a quartz fibre light guide or large area uniform beam optics. The single or multiple beam outputs from the light guide allow efficient irradiation of the target and the use of low-loss optical systems ensures UV intensity as high as 15 W/cm2 at the output end.
