The TPS1000-512 from Tri-M Technologies is a dual programmable-output DC-DC power converter with three-stage input protection to safeguard the system against voltage spikes and transients.
The device accepts an input in the range of 4,5 to 33 V d.c. and output 5 V at up to 7 A and 12 V at up to 3,5 A, exhibiting efficiency of up to 96% in the process. An extended operating temperature range
(-40°C to +85°C) and rugged design allow it to be reliably used in harsh environments. Three RGB LEDs provide visual indication of input, output and operation status.
The module comes with the Power/OS system onboard, which monitors inputs, outputs, environmental conditions and interfaces; schedules tasks including self tests, data logging and fault detecting; provides visual operating status feedback; enables setup, control and calibration; and provides data logging via a time-stamped history of operation and events.
