Green Watt Power’s EVD-89-S-450-G3201 is a 450 Watt ruggedised DC-DC converter suitable for electric vehicle, marine, industrial and other applications which draw power from a bank of batteries or another high-voltage DC power source.
The device has an input range of 50 to 125 V d.c. and an output voltage range of 13,6 to 14 V d.c., making it ideal for powering onboard accessories, lights, instruments, etc. The output current rating of the EVD is 33 A with output surge capability up to 45 A. Overall output voltage accuracy is ±3%; line and load regulation are ±0,02% and 5% respectively; and output ripple is 130 mV peak to peak.
The unit is isolated input to output, with an isolation voltage of 1500 V a.c. It boasts an efficiency of 90% and handles an ambient operating range of -40°C to +55°C. The device is protected against over-voltage, thermal overload and short circuit, and is backed by a five year warranty.
The EVD-89-S-450-G3201 measures 158 x 170 x 50 mm and is fully encapsulated for rugged reliability. The case has flanges for convenient mounting and flying leads are available, making the unit suitable for a variety of interconnect requirements.
