Work surface mats

15 May 2013 Manufacturing / Production Technology, Hardware & Services

Altico supplies a range of work surface mats with a static dissipative top layer and conductive bottom layer.

The 3,2 mm vinyl and 1,5 mm rubber mats are available in two stock sizes, on rolls (600 mm x 10 m and 1,2 m x 10 m) or to customer requirements. The stock sizes have two 7 mm connecting points on a short side and can be supplied as a work surface set with a common point ground and a wristband set (stretch adjustable with 360 cm grounding cord).

The mats feature a reflection breaking surface to reduce glare and improve comfort, and protect against small collisions thanks to their natural resilience. Sliding of delicate components is prevented thanks to the high friction coefficient of the material, which is increased by the embossed surface.

Heating resistance is guaranteed as the rubber does not melt and does not burn when coming into contact with hot metal parts or soldering debris. The material also resists most paraffinic and naphthenic oils and does not require application with adhesive. The surface provides good resistance to scratches, as well as flexibility and comfort.
