M2M antennas and antenna modules

29 May 2013 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

Targeting the global machine-to-machine (M2M) and connected device markets, Antenova M2M’s ranges of gigaNOVA off-the-shelf antennas and RADIONOVA RF antenna modules meet the requirements of OEMs, module vendors and system integrators offering products for wireless M2M applications in the consumer, enterprise, industrial, security, automotive and maritime industries.

gigaNOVA cellular SMD antennas Rubra and Calvus are aimed at module and device vendors as they provide high efficiency with the ease of integration of a standard surface mount device, and are suitable for GSM/GPRS modules as well as 3G modules for vendors looking to futureproof their products.

The space saving Clarki A10464 quad-band antenna is popular with cellular module vendors as it is intended to be corner mounted over the modem module, allowing the module and antenna to share PCB space.

gigaNOVA 2,4 GHz antennas are well suited for Bluetooth (BT, BT EDR, BT LE) and Wi-Fi applications, including new body-worn medical monitors and expanded vehicle connectivity systems.

The Kirbii A10472 ISM antenna addresses small size and reliable performance requirements for remote monitoring and security applications operating in the 896 MHz and 915 MHz bands, while the Indica 2,4 GHz chip antenna is ideally suited for electronic shelf applications due to its small size.

GPS RADIONOVA RF antenna modules continue to win design-ins and are implemented in several personal trackers, automatic vehicle locators (AVLs), vehicle ‘black box’ and maritime emergency identification and tracking devices.
