The Motorola MC9200 gun-style mobile computer from Westcon Mobility Solutions is a rugged unit supporting mobile applications and 802.11n wireless LAN. This new device includes all of the features of the previous MC9000 series, along with backward compatibility with accessories from this series for cost-effective upgrading.
The computer offers a dual-core 1 GHz processor, 2 GB of Flash memory and up to 32 GB of additional SD memory, along with Microsoft’s robust mobile operating system, enabling the running of complex ERP applications simultaneously.
A 3,7” backlit, high-resolution colour VGA display enables easy reading in any lighting conditions, and government-grade certification secures wireless communication without impacting device performance. Fast scanning is provided for a wide range of barcodes, with six scan engines for 1D, 2D, driver’s licence and more, even if they are scratched or dirty.
Rugged features include a 1,8 metre drop spec, IP64 sealing, hardened touchscreen, fortified scanner exit window with Gorilla Glass, integrated one-piece gun handle, a durable battery design, torque cell construction and internal magnesium frame. Integrated sensors enable automatic power-down if the device is not in use, and recording of device drops.
The MC9200 is ideal for use in warehousing and distribution, retail, manufacturing, government and legislative offices, as well as airlines.
