Electronics manufacturing exhibition NEPCON South China 2013, held in Shenzhen in August, attracted some 31 340 visitors over its three days. More than 500 exhibitors from 22 countries were on display in the 30 000 m² exhibition area.
International SMT giants like Panasonic, Fuji, ASM, WKK, Samsung, Juki, Sony, Assembléon and Hitachi were present, as were leading printer, soldering and mounter, and test equipment manufacturers from Europe, the US, Korea and Japan. Special announcements and new product launches included Fuji’s NXTIII, Juki’s JX-300LED, Assembléon’s AX-501, Sony’s SAXES autumn new products and many more offerings from regional and global manufacturers.
Also featured were dozens of Chinese brands such as Ridong, New Dimension Systems, Quick, Juzte, H&H Technology, Magic-Ray, HollyTech, APMTech, Mingseal Robot, Colibri Automation, Shenzhen Fujisan, Twinwin, Desen and AxxonAuto, who collectively featured products including automatic visual printers, wave solder machines, reflow machines, intelligent optical inspection equipment, X-ray, high-speed dispenser machines, selective automatic spraying systems, automatic soldering robots and refurbishing workstations.
An innovation at this year’s show was NEPCON TV, a first-time promotional medium streaming video interviews with industry leaders. The narrowcast channel was a chance to hear directly from industry experts and gain new business insights. The organiser also launched a mobile app for the event, giving participants one-click access to all show information on-the-go.
