The MPM3805/10 from Monolithic Power Systems are DC-DC solutions with integrated inductor. Their input voltage range can be from 2,5 to 6 V with the output being set to anything from 0,6 to 3,3 V.
The devices can deliver peak output current up to 600 mA/1,2 A, and have a low quiescent current of 17 mA. Eliminating the need for an external inductor reduces board size, manufacturing costs and inventory count whilst providing a high-efficiency solution.
Features include internal soft start, 3,5 MHz switching frequency, desirable light-load efficiency, cycle to cycle over-current protection and short circuit protection with hiccup mode.
