New from XP Power is the ECP180 series of low-profile, open frame 180 Watt AC-DC power supplies. The IT and medically approved units have an average active mode efficiency of 93% and no-load power consumption of less than 0,5 W. With these energy saving credentials the units produce less heat and assist designers of end systems to meet current ‘green’ energy efficiency standards.
Their efficient design enables the power supplies to provide a convection cooled rating of 120 Watts, with the full output power of 180 Watts needing only 10 CFM of forced airflow. The units measure 50,8 x 101,6 mm, with a profile of only 25,4 mm.
With power factor correction and a universal input range of 85 to 264 V a.c., the ECP180 is available in six output voltage models providing the popular nominal outputs of +12, +15, + 24, +28, +36 or +48 V d.c. A secondary 12 V d.c./0,5 A fan output is standard across the range.
