Surface-mount PCB connectors

Harting’s har-flexicon range enables the contacting of flexible single conductors without separate stripping using insulation displacement connection (IDC) technology. Mating and unmating is simple and requires no tools, and through the use of surface mount technology (SMT), the connectors can be processed in the same reflow manufacturing step as other SMT components.

The connectors achieve high mounting stability and have a rugged design that allows them to absorb high pulling and insertion forces. These characteristics make them well suited for industrial application to transfer I/O signals in sensor systems and actuating elements. With a pitch of 1,27 mm, the connector’s height is only 5 mm.
