Radiall has launched a new line of low-PIM (passive intermodulation) coaxial switches to facilitate the rapid growth of 4G/LTE networks.
The range includes SPDT, DPDT, SP4T and SP6T configurations with either SMA (up to 18 GHz) or N (up to 12,4 GHz) type connectors.
With over 500 part number configurations available for purchase, these switches offer long life cycles with two million actuations guaranteed, versus the industry average of one million cycles. They are targeted at RF test systems and test benches demanding excellent passive intermodulation performance.
The switches feature 3rd order intermodulation characteristics of -160 dBc @ +43 dBm (20 W). The SMA models have 60 dB isolation, insertion loss of 0,5 dB and VSWR of 1,5 at 18 GHz, while the N models exhibit identical performance figures at 12,4 GHz.
