The PushPull hood enables tool‑free mating and de‑mating, securely locking onto fixing bolts with a simple push action and releasing just as easily. This streamlined mechanism can reduce installation and servicing time by up to 50%, helping minimise downtime in applications where connectors are frequently accessed. A clear acoustic and tactile click confirms correct locking, improving handling safety and confidence during assembly.
Designed for flexibility, the D‑Sub PushPull hood is available in sizes 09, 15, and 25, in plastic or metallised plastic versions. Options for internal or external strain relief allow connection of cable diameters up to 14 mm, with support for up to three cable entries. The hood is compatible with standard, mixed, and high‑density D‑Sub inserts, as well as the HARTING coding system with up to 36 variations, preventing mis-mating.
