Coilcraft unveiled the XAL1010 series of shielded power inductors with extended temperature range. The series is available in 13 different inductances between 0,22 μH and 15 μH, current carrying capacities to 98,8 A and a DCR of just 0,45 mΩ.
The proven housing in cube shape comes with side lengths of 10 x 11,3 x 10 mm. For applications with less vertical space, Coilcraft offers the shallow XAL1060 series. Both versions meet the requirements of AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C) and are suited for use in harsh automotive environments.
Due to their slow inductance loss at saturation (soft saturation) the components are ideal for voltage regulator modules on plug-in card (VRM) or embedded on the motherboard controller (VRD).
