Fairchild evaluation boards now in DesignSpark PCB format

17 September 2014 Design Automation

RS Components has teamed up with Fairchild Semiconductor to develop a set of complete reference designs for seven of Fairchild’s most popular evaluation boards in DesignSpark PCB format. The reference designs are available to download from the DesignShare collaborative open-source design community on the RS website at www.rs-online.com/designspark/designshare/eng/partners/view/fairchild-semiconductor/.

Consisting of full circuit schematics and printed circuit board layouts, these evaluation boards are now readily accessible to engineers for insertion as ready-made blocks – with full bill of materials (BOM) and pre-populated with ordering data – directly into their electronics designs.

RS Components maintains an inventory of nearly 200 Fairchild parts, and plans to expand this to cover the entire Fairchild product line. All of the stocked parts are backed up by ModelSource PCB library files, allowing rapid integration into DesignSpark PCB, Altium, PADS, OrCAD and other popular ECAD formats.
