knitter-switch has introduced a ground contact option for standard tactile switches designed for a wide range of professional and consumer applications including audio equipment, white goods and measuring instruments.
The new TSG/TSSG 61 pushbutton switch is a panel-mount component designed for through-hole or surface-mount applications. Users can select from a choice of stem length – 4,3 mm, 5 mm, 7 mm, 7,3 mm, 9,5 mm, 11,3 mm or 13 mm – and actuation force – 70, 100, 160, 260, 320 or 520 gf – to more precisely meet their requirements.
These pushbutton switches are tactile, momentary devices and, for applications where ESD protection is an issue, can be supplied with an additional ground pin.
