The new Aludin family from Gainta comprises boxes with plastic panels and extruded aluminium hoods. Designed for desktop applications or mounting on DIN rail, they are available in six lengths, similar to DIN rail 1M, 2M, 3M, 4M, 6M and 9M module boxes.
The UL94-V0 polycarbonate plastic panels incorporate a tongue and groove sealing design which, when combined with an optional continuous EPDM seal in the hood, provides the enclosures with IP66 rating. The boxes can be supplied with black painted aluminium hood and black plastic panels, or grey hood with matching panels.
The aluminium hoods can be ordered in lengths ranging from 25 mm to 1000 mm, while the panels are also available in clear or translucent red plastic.
