Kemet recently released its first automotive grade polymer capacitors in the form of the T591 family, delivering stability and endurance under harsh humidity and temperature conditions.
Available in capacitances up to 220 μF and rated up to 10 V, this series features operating temperatures up to 125°C and are qualified according to AEC-Q200 guidelines.
Typical uses includes decoupling and filtering of DC-to-DC converters in automotive infotainment and driver assistance applications, as well as industrial applications where harsh conditions such as high humidity and temperature are of concern.
