The EM35 series of high-power connectors from Hirose are designed to carry up to 50 A (using AWG #8 cable).
These 4-pin connectors are available in either a circular metal waterproof version (IP67) with a rugged bayonet lock suitable for outdoor use, or in a snap-in DIN rail mount version.
The parts are ideal for three-phase systems plus ground, and the construction of the housings protects against accidental shock or spark due to the first-to-mate ground contact. The contacts can be crimped with most industry standard crimp tools, and the female contact is protected by a cover to prevent damage in assembly, handling and mating.
The connectors are rated at 250 V a.c. for up to 500 mating cycles across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. They are ideal for use with solar power systems, generators, machinery, mining equipment, battery storage banks and similar.
