Coilcraft’s new MLC75xx shielded, high-current power inductors offer saturation current ratings up to 59,2 A and DC resistance down to 1,2 mΩ for greater efficiency.
Their soft saturation characteristics make them ideal for VRM/VRD designs and other applications with occasional over-current requirements.
The surface-mount parts measure just 7 x 7,5 mm, with a maximum height of 4,2 mm, and come in seven inductance values ranging from 0,1 to 2,17μH. They feature RoHS-compliant tin-silver over copper terminations and offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C. They are also constructed of proprietary materials that the manufacturer claims are not subject to thermal ageing issues associated with other iron powder core inductors.
