Sonitron’s extremely loud (SXL) series of buzzers are used in conditions that require immediate attention and action to prevent dramatic situations. Application areas of relevance include alarms, agricultural equipment, monitoring and test equipment, medical equipment, military equipment, trucks and automobiles, boats and aeroplanes, signalling and process control equipment, fire detectors, vending machines and cockpit alarms.
Putting out up to 104 dB(A) of sound pressure at 3 kHz, the devices produce a very clear and penetrating sound in continuous, multifunction, warbler or sweep patterns. Being of solid-state, shock-proof construction, the SXL range is rated to IP67 for dust and water protection, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
The buzzers are designed for PCB and panel mounting, with pin or fast-on terminals.
