Eurocard connectors

15 June 2016 Interconnection

TE Connectivity’s Eurocard two-piece connectors include board-to-board, wire-to-board, ribbon cable-to-board and high-current connector configurations that offer a quality design to help ensure signal integrity (SI) and electrical performance. With a broad portfolio, it’s easy for designers to find the right connector type and style to fit their application.

By meeting DIN 41612 and IEC 60603-2 specifications, these Eurocard connectors are ready for design, and help ensure signal integrity and electrical performance with gold plating. They enable design flexibility with standard DIN sizes as well as half, third and expanded sizes.

The connectors also support various solder post lengths, ACTION PIN and eye-of-needle contact tails. Their polarised housings help ensure reliability while flame retardant materials aid safety. Select contact loading is available for custom designs.

Typical applications include high-speed trains, distributed control systems in industrial control, power automation and data communications such as servers, storage systems and routers.
