'Aluminium Nitride' resistive devices claimed to outperform existing products

Barry Industries has introduced a complete line of high power aluminium nitride based thick-film resistors, attenuators, terminations and resistive assemblies.
According to the company these devices are significantly improved from anything presently on the market because they utilise new advanced technology conductor and resistor materials. This revolutionary thick-film system, because of its unique bonding mechanism, provides excellent adhesion to the aluminium nitride, and this superior bond produces parts with higher reliability, improved ruggedness and maximised heat transfer properties, says the manufacturer.
Barry has performed extensive 1000 hour life testing and the new materials, along with Barry's advanced designs and high temperature fluxless brazing/soldering, provide parts with superior performance, reliability and ruggedness.
