Dynamic NFC tag expansion board

9 November 2016 Telecoms, Datacoms, Wireless, IoT

The X-NUCLEO-NFC01A1 is a dynamic NFC tag evaluation board from STMicroelectronics, allowing expansion of the STM32 Nucleo boards.

The board is compatible with the Arduino UNO R3 connector layout and is designed around the M24SR64-Y, a dynamic NFC/RFID tag IC with a dual interface. It embeds a 64 Kb EEPROM memory, and can be operated from an I²C interface or by a 13,56 MHz RFID reader or NFC capable phone.

The X-NUCLEO-NFC01A1 is powered through the Arduino UNO R3 connectors, and includes three LEDs for general purpose use. A 31 x 30 mm, 13,56 MHz, double layer inductive antenna is etched on the PCB.
