Connector specialist Amtek appoints IPD Electronics

IPD Electronics has been appointed as a South African distributor for Amtek Technology, a Taiwanese manufacturer with 25 years of experience providing connectors in a wide variety of styles and configurations to suit any design requirements.
Amtek’s product range includes sockets for SIM cards, smartcards and memory cards, in addition to a broad selection of connectors for board-to-board, board-to-wire, FPC/FFC, I/O, RF and USB. Other products in its portfolio include headers and sockets, IC carriers, modular jacks and plugs, hoods, wire harness and cable, terminal blocks and switches.
