RS Components has launched more than 100 new test and measurement products under its RS Pro label. The new introductions include products from three key equipment ranges: oscilloscope probes and thermal imaging cameras, both of which are new product areas for RS Pro, as well as a new digital multimeter.
The RS Pro oscilloscope probes are ergonomically designed, lightweight and suitable for use with all major brands of oscilloscope. The range covers passive probes starting at 15 MHz through to active probes measuring up to 1,2 GHz. The units target general electronics applications including use in R&D and laboratories and in design and repair facilities and departments.
Two new RS Pro thermal imaging cameras deliver user-friendly controls with fast, accurate and reliable measurement, while also being robust enough to withstand daily use in a range of tough environments. The units have been designed for use by a wide range of professionals including building and facilities engineers and maintenance technicians within processing or utilities industries.
Both thermal imaging cameras offer a 2,8” display, approximately four hours of battery life and storage capability via a MicroSD card. The RS700 offers an operating temperature range of –20°C to +150°C with an infrared resolution of 80 x 80 pixels, in addition to offering Wi-Fi connectivity; whereas the RS730 offers a temperature range of 0°C to +350°C with an IR resolution of 120 x 160 pixels.
The new RS Pro HS608 MeterScope is ideal for use in the utilities, energy or processing industries, as well as in a wide range of maintenance applications. It is a true-RMS digital multimeter with oscilloscope functions and 3,5” colour TFT display. Featuring a 20 MHz bandwidth and 50 MSps real-time sample rate, the MeterScope has built-in data-logging and trend capturing capability, which can be transferred via Bluetooth for deeper analysis.
