The AXSIPSFEU from ON Semiconductor is an ultra low-power, compact system-in-package (SiP) solution for a node on the Sigfox network, with both up- and down-link functionality. Delivered with conformal shielding, the chip contains all the necessary components and firmware for transmit and receive operation on the RC1 Sigfox network – no additional passive components or reference frequency providing parts are required on the customer’s PCB. A single-ended 50 Ω antenna port is provided. The device is targeted at building and home automation, automatic meter reading, sensor and asset tracking, and control and lighting.
