The Epson FC-255 is one of the smallest crystals manufactured. The ceramic package measuring 5,0 x 2,0 x 0,9 mm is ideal for compact designs with a height restriction.
The low profile is achieved by using an extremely small tuning fork uniquely coated to reduce the possibility of shorting and enhance reliability.
The standard frequency is 32,768 kHz, common to many clock and microcontroller designs and custom frequencies can be manufactured to specification. An accuracy of ±20 ppm or ±50 ppm is available over an operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C.
