Low voltage and current op-amps

13 February 2002 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Microchip's MCP602x and MCP604X families are low voltage, low current op-amps with unity gain stability and rail-to-rail input and output. MCP602X devices support a voltage supply range from 5,5 V down to 2,5 V. They also feature a gain bandwidth product of 10 MHz, low noise (8,7 nV/rtHz) and a typical quiescent current (IQ) of 1,1 mA with a maximum IQ of 1,35 mA. The low offset voltage reduces the need for offsetting components. The MCP604X devices support voltage range 5,5 V down to 1,4 V, a GBWP of 14 kHz, a typical IQ of 600 nA and a maximum IQ of 1 mA. The low IQ allows use without costly stabilising circuitry. The op-amps are specified from -40 to +85°C and are available in 8-pin PDIP, SOIC and MSOP and 14-pin PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages.
