The VCoderH264-HD series boards from Advanced Micro Peripherals are high-performance, high-definition, H.264 codecs on PCIe/104 format. The series provides a powerful and flexible solution for encoding HDMI, RGB, STANAG3350, VGA and HD-S DI on the various VCoderH264 boards.
The PCIe/104 module is ideal for demanding applications in transportation, military, communications and energy industries.
The VCoderH264-HD-SDI captures an HD-SDI input at up to 1080p60 and encodes it using the H.264 video compression standard. It provides AAC audio encoding in addition to the H.264 video compression. Stereo audio embedded in the input HD-SDI source can be captured, encoded and synchronised with the encoded video prior to transfer over the PCIe/104 bus. The board also supports extraction of KLV (MSB 0605.3 compliant) embedded data contained within the HD-SDI source. The KLV metadata is synchronised and captured with the compressed video.
The VCoderH264-HD-HDMI captures an HDMI or DVI input at up to 1080p60 and encodes it using the H.264 video compression standard. It provides AAC audio encoding in addition to the H.264 video compression. Stereo audio embedded in the input HDMI source can be captured, encoded and synchronised with the encoded video prior to transfer over the PCIe/104 bus.
The VCoderH264-HD-RGB/STANAG captures an HD analog RGB input at up to 1080p60 and encodes it using the H.264 video compression standard. It can capture video from a wide range of analog RGB video sources. VGA, RGSB (sync-on-green) and Stanag3350 sources can all be captured, encoded and then transferred to the host system over the PCIe/104 bus.
