Erni's D-sub discrete wire IDC connectors provide easy and quick termination of discrete wires via insulation displacement connection (IDC) technique and feature termination of stranded or solid wires. The connectors are available as male or female versions from 9 to 37-pin contacts.
The application tooling allows high-speed cabling and allows partially loaded cable assemblies. The harnessed IDC connectors fit the Erni's KSG200 D-Sub cable connector housings series, that has excellent EMI/RFI and ESD protection.
Key features: quick harnessing capability with simple hand or semi-automatic tooling; contacts are easily replaceable; wire sizes: 22 AWG - 26 AWG (other wire gauges upon request); copper alloy contacts; plating mating area: 0,7 µm Au over Ni; thermoplastic UL 94 V-0 insulator; tinned steel shell; 2,5 A current rating; -55 to 125°C; 15 mOhm max contact resistance; 1000 V a.c. test voltage.
