The CTCS connection system is Aptiv’s solution for harsh-environment applications. The CTCS connector and CTS terminal families have been designed to meet the demanding requirements of commercial and heavy-duty applications, specifically to address new emission regulations and enable the generation of environmentally-friendly vehicles.
The product range comprises a complete portfolio of connectors, accessories, terminals, seals and hand crimp tools. Flexibility is provided by terminals that are interchangeable with other industry terminals, and panel, strap/clip and bracket mounting options.
The connectors are offered in both non-V0 and V0 materials, and provide improved vibration resistance with robust back shells. Rated for operation in temperatures from -40°C to +140°C, they feature additional connector shielding for protection against debris ingress.
