PCMCIA and Compact Flash interfaces

Interconnection
Samtec has introduced new headers and sockets for card-to-board applications where PCMCIA or Compact Flash compatibility is required.
For PCMCIA compatibility, the PCMT/PCMS Series header and socket is available with 68 pins in the same hot pluggable polarisation configurations as the PCMCIA specification. The header is designed to accept card lengths of 13, 25 and 38 mm and either 0,80 mm boards or 1,60 mm boards. For Compact Flash compatibility, the CFT/CFS Series is available with 50 pins in the same hot pluggable polarisation configurations as the Compact Flash specification. The header is designed to accept a 25 mm card length and either 0,80 mm boards or 1,60 mm boards. Both systems are available with standard and elevated profiles.
Unique Samtec solder locks provide alignment of the headers to the board and additional mechanical strength after soldering.
