Two high-speed op amps from Micrel, the MIC920 and MIC921, provide an order of magnitude improvement in the ratio of slew rate to power consumption compared to industry standard. These devices are decompensated derivatives of the MIC918 and MIC919. Decompensation enables them to achieve an even higher slew rate and gain-bandwidth product for same power consumption while still maintaining unity-gain stability. They are both specified for ±2,5 V and ±9 V. The MIC920 has a gain-bandwidth of 80 MHz and the MIC921 has a gain-bandwidth of 45 MHz. All are capable of driving unlimited capacitance and are housed in SC70-5 packaging. PSRR is 104 dB and 105 dB, AVOL is 93 dB and 92 dB and CMRR is 91 dB and 87 dB for the MIC920 and MIC921 respectively. The MIC920 and MIC921 are offered in SC70-5 packaging.
