Erni’s SMT miniature connector range – Series ECO – uses identical male and female contacts. This is achieved through so-called hermaphrodite contact design which consequently has many benefits and helps solve many interconnection problems – particularly in SMT applications.
Ever-increasing requirements for compact construction methods are satisfied through the low board/board distance of 4,97 mm.
Fully automatic loading of SMT boards is facilitated as the insulating body has integrated grip faces suitable for both (loose) individual and tape-on-reel packaging.
The dual-sided footprint ensures strong and durable mounting to the PCB. Raster is 0,8 mm and it is available in 4, 6, 10 poles – one row or 80 poles – two row. Carrying-current is 2,0 A at 20°C.
They are suitable for use in sensing, medical and communications applications.
