Available as components or complete ribbon cable assemblies, AMP claims its MTA system allows mass termination for one-step installation at the lowest possible cost. Its unique design eliminates hand loading and wire stripping. Four complete systems are available: MTA-100 for 0,633 mm square posts on 2,54 mm centres, MTA-156 for 1,14 mm round or square posts on 3,96 mm centres. MTA-cable-to-cable posted connectors on 3,96 mm centres and MTA-card edge connectors for 1,58 mm thick printed circuit board on 3,96 mm centres.
