Broadband MMIC RF amplifiers

3 July 2002 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

The RF Devices' NLB-300/310/400 cascadable broadband GaInP/GaAs MMIC amplifiers are a high-performance solution for general purpose RF and microwave amplification needs. This 50 Ohm gain block is based on a reliable HBT proprietary MMIC design, providing high performance for small-signal applications. Designed with an external bias resistor, the devices provide flexibility and stability. These devices are packaged in a low-cost, surface-mount plastic package, providing ease of assembly for high-volume tape-and-reel requirements:

* NLB-300 (DC to 10 GHz): 13,0 dB Gain, +11,1 dBm P1 dB @ 2 GHz; High P1 dB of +14,1 dBm @ 6,0 GHz and +12,7 dBm @ 10,0 GHz.

* NLB-310 (DC to 10 GHz): 12,7 dB Gain, +12,6 dBm P1 dB @2 GHz; High P1 dB of +14,9 dBm @ 6,0 GHz and +13,1 dBm @ 10,0 GHz.

* NLB-400 (DC to 6 GHz): 15,5 dB Gain, +12,0 dBm P1 dB @ 2 GHz; High P1 dB of +14,6 dBm @ 6,0 GHz.

These single power supply operation devices find application in narrow and broadband commercial and military radio designs, as linear and saturated amplifiers, or gain stage or driver amplifiers for MW radio/optical designs.
