Using only a small space the GRM4 from Schurter combines the functions IEC inlet, mains switch, mains filter, fuseholder, voltage selector switch and EMC shield. The mounting depth is only 26 to 31,5 mm depending on type.
The mains filter provides conformity to IEC950 and ranges from 0,5 to 10 A as standard or medical version. The effective EMC-shield also provides a simple means for optimal EMC-grounding. The GRM4 allows easy and sturdy mounting from the inside of the equipment using Schurter's reliable lock and shield technology.
The two-pole fuseholder, designed for 5 x 20 mm IEC fuses is reachable from the inside of the equipment thus preventing accidental replacement of the fuses with inadequate fuses by the equipment user.
The voltage selector switch (optional) is designed for use in two input-range SMPS' (switch mode power supplies).
All functions of the GRM4 are fully pre-wired. Only the voltage selector switch needs additional wiring. The GRM4 is approved according to UL/CSA, VDE, SEMKO and SEV.
