Advantech has introduced the WebLink-2000 series of web server embedded devices that connect to a device through RS232/422/485, Ethernet or fieldbus communication to the intranet/internet with no need for a hard disk. WebLink-2000 extracts realtime data from plant floor systems, aggregates it at a web server, transforms it into business information and distributes it to appropriate users through a standard web browser.
WebLink-2000 allows the user to view realtime control data, update control parameters, download/upload system configuration, file and to diagnose communication status through a web browser. Any alarms or events from the control system are immediately relayed via e-mail to pre-configured addresses, at any time, anywhere.
Its powerful web-based SCADA/HMI functions allow the user to publish realtime dynamic and animated graphic screens, trends, alarms, reports and recipes to standard browsers. It also capable of importing and exporting data to XML format.
Providing on-line configuration and remote management capabilities, the device also offers development support tools such as message register, error and event codes, Database, Spy and Login. WebLink-2000 is easy to DIN-rail or panel mount into system.
