Soft action long life switches from Cherry that are mainly used in security applications are offered with a variety of actuator plungers. The plungers disappear into the body of the switch when depressed, thus making them ideal for door jam applications. Also available are models with a 'cheat' function. This enables the user to activate the switch when the door is open by pulling the actuator. This locks in an 'ON' position. After maintenance, the actuator is returned to the centre position and the switch returns to 'off' position.
