BivarOpto's watertight, panel mount flexible light pipes featuring an IP-67 certified watertight and splash-proof lens and bezel assembly, are ideal for installations exposed to harsh environments. Incorporating the company's patented design, the unit provides advanced focusing technology via a micro-fresnel lens and a 160° viewing angle. Ready for use with through-hole or surface-mount LEDs, it is ideal for use in outdoor, rugged industrial, marine, airborne, medical, chemical refining or heavy-duty applications.
The assembly includes an integrally-threaded housing with a 7,4 mm lens enhanced by a low profile bezel and is offered in a hard anodised black or bright stainless steel finish. The IP-67 mounts in a 7,9 mm panel cutout and comes complete with all required mounting hardware. The compact unit offers superior light transmission of an LED's full captured intensity up to 100 m away. The standard 305 mm-long, 2 mm diameter flexible light pipe and housing is thermally encapsulated to assure appropriate sealing. The IP67 Series can also be provided pre-assembled with through-hole LEDs for immediate mounting directly to PCB boards.
