High decoupling force cylindrical connector

In order to better meet the demanding needs of today's aircraft engines, Amphenol Aerospace has developed the industry's first reduced coupling/increased uncoupling force connector. Unlike other high vibration connector designs, its patented clutch design does not compromise the need for quick, smooth coupling in order to get increased uncoupling torque.

The connector is specifically designed to:

* Eliminate the need for connector pliers.

* Provide easy mating in hard to reach places.

* Provide shell-to-shell bottoming with each mating.

* Eliminate 'settling' or uncoupling when exposed to aircraft engine vibration levels.

The design is available with stainless steel shells and firewall inserts that meet the dimensional requirements of MIL-C-38999 Series III.
