Interconnection
Amphenol's RNJ series has been designed to connect electrical devices between a moving unit (rack) and a fixed unit (panel), without any coupling/uncoupling system. They allow to integrate the design tolerances between the moving and fixed unit, up to the following limits: ±1 mm X and Y axial alignment, ±6° angular alignment, ±0,5 mm longitudinal alignment.
The RNJ series also includes the following features: EMI shielding; connector shells are grounded prior to contact engagement; lightweight space saving design; 500 cycles durability; seven shell sizes from 11 to 25, one to 128 crimp contacts per MIL-C-39029, or PCB solder contacts; 100% scoop-proof; insert arrangements per MIL-STD-1560 (MIL-C-38999 Series I); temperature range: -65°C to +175°C.
