While smaller in size than its standard PUSHMATIC , Amphenol's PUSHMATIC II provides additional performance and 'anti-vandal' features. With this added functionality the PUSHMATIC II meets requirements of new and future applications for unattended terminals used in payment and security system applications.

Offered with or without card locking function - part numbers C702 10M008 9102/9092 respectively - the PUSHMATIC II, has contact resistance under 100 mOhm; insulation resistance over 10⁹ Ohm. The unlocking solenoid is offered in 5, 12 and 24 V versions. The termination connector is 2x8 contacts on 2 mm pitch and the smartcard connector is suitable for operation from -25 to +70°C.
