Harwin's miniature cable-to-cable connectors measure just 12,5 x 6,7 x 29,0 mm mated yet can carry up to 10 A per contact. They also incorporate an 'O' ring seat in the housing design; allowing IP ratings of 55 and 67 to be achieved when combined with back-potting of the contact terminations. This makes them equally well suited to general-purpose applications and to those in harsh environments.
The 2 or 3-way connectors are available with a choice of 18 awg crimp or solder-bucket contact styles. Contacts are manufactured from tin-plated brass, whilst the female socket contacts use Harwin's proven 4-finger beryllium copper contact clip technology. Gold-plated contacts are available as an option.
Manufactured from grey polyester (UL94V-0 flammability rated), the housings are fully polarised to prevent mismating and include latching mechanisms for added strain-relief. Alternative housing colours are available to order.
