Stereo DAC with CODEC

Combining a high performance stereo digital-to-analog converter with a voice grade CODEC, STMicroelectronics' STw5094 adds voice recording capability to a broad range of portable audio products, including MP3 players, CD players, FM radios and mobile phones. Voice CODEC ADC is useful for the recording of voice comments inserted in music files. Direct connection to microphone and earpieces plus full digital programmability of all analog op-amps eliminates costly external components. Noise is low as all circuitry is integrated on chip. Design is simple: no particular care is needed to supply voltage as the STw5094 uses mostly differential circuitry for optimal audio performance.
