DSP, Micros & Memory
Hitachi's 16 bit microcontroller with 4x40 segment integrated LCD, 256 KB of embedded Flash and 16 KB RAM offers very low power consumption. The H8S/2268F enables users to preserve their software investment for gas, water and electricity metering applications, as well as other industrial applications. Available in a 5 V version running at 20 MHz (50 ns min instruction cycle) and in a 3 V version running at 13 MHz. The H8S/2268F's peripheral set includes sophisticated TPU timer unit featuring three channels of 16 bit timers with up to eight input capture or output compare functions; three serial ports offering support for I2C and a subset of the smartcard standard ISO7816-3; a 10 channel 10 bit resolution ADC and a two channel 8 bit DAC. Also features Hitachi's versatile pseudo DMA function data transfer controller (DTC). Available in 100-pin QFP.
