100 kHz op-amps with lq of 600 nA

23 October 2002 Analogue, Mixed Signal, LSI

Microchip's MCP614X family of op-amps feature a gain bandwidth product of 100 kHz, an ultra-low typical quiescent current of 600 nA and a maximum quiescent current of 1 µA. Typical power consumption is less than 1 mW at quiescent state with 1,4 V supply. The MCP6141, MCP6142, MCP6143 and MCP6144 op-amps offer rail-to-rail input and output that allows the full voltage supply range to be used from 5,5 V down to 1,4 V supply operation. The low voltage operation reduces the need for doubler circuitry and the low quiescent current further reduces battery demand. Specified from -40 to +85°C, the devices are stable for applications with a gain of 10 (V/V) or better, such as sensors, portable instrumentation, and RFID tags, and devices powered by a single communication loop such as phones, security, and building safety devices. Come in 8-pin PDIP, SOIC, and MSOP packages and 14-pin PDIP, SOIC and TSSOP packages.
