Heavycon D Bus Connector, Phoenix Contact's plug connector for bus cables, enables low cost combinations of power and shielded bus lines in one plug connector with data transmission up to 1,5 Mbps. This reduces space requirements and installation costs. This plug connector has been developed in conjunction with the Heavycon D series contact inserts.
Their design is particularly suitable for T-couplers, in particular for connecting three Profibus lines, while it remains possible to connect other bus cables as well. In the contact holder, the Profibus connection uses four adjacent pins:
* HC-D 4-ST-1 BUS for connecting a two-wire bus line for HC-D pin contact holders.
* HC-D 4-BU-2 BUS for connecting two two-wire bus lines for HC-D socket contact holders.
