OKW's hand-held SMART-CASE series of cases have an ergonomically curved form that allows optimum ease of use. The SMART-CASE range now consists of 4 basic sizes: XS, M, L and the new size XL, which offers an installation volume approx. 20% larger than size L. The external dimensions are approx. 168 x 74,4 x 35,4 mm (L x W x H). The XL offers adequate space for the use of the required displays. The cases are available as standard in 5 versions: without/with a battery compartment for a 9 V flat battery or 2 x 1,5 V (AA) batteries, as well as three versions with a recess for simple push-on assembly of the bushing. The cable bushing is included and can be used for standard round cables with diameters from 3,4 to 5,9 mm.
The cases are available in two standard colours (off-white and black) as well as in the materials ABS or in infrared-permeable PMMA (Plexiglas). PMMA is particularly suitable for applications such as remote controls or IR transmitters. Rubberised keyboards, pushbuttons and membrane keyboards are equally suitable as operating elements.
