The convenience of the new Quickon One quick connector from Phoenix Contact is now also available for use with the four-pin square A3 (3+PE) design plug connector. This quicker and easier connector means that wiring time is further reduced. Cable gland, strain relief, seal and wire guide are combined into one component. This means that only one part is now placed over the cable.
For the wiring, a new wire guide enables crossing of the individual wires. If it is desired to dismantle the connection, then the single-piece cable gland is unscrewed. The wires are then entirely automatically released from the cutting clamp.
The quick connection plug is available with pin or socket contacts. Individual wires with a cross-sectional area from 0,75 to 1,5 mm2 are securely connected. In a plugged condition the power plug (10 A, 250/400 V) meets the requirements of protection category IP 67.
